I scored a great deal on Shutterfly. I received an email with this:
With that, I made a photo journal that came to $9.79. I then found the code HAIR10 that saved me $10 off $10. Since I didn't have the minimum $10, I bought a photo magnet.
Here is the free code I got for shipping... I hope if works for you. PLEASE comment if you try it and let me know!!! I don't think it works... But if you have a Shutterfly account, check your email! 8E8K-DYBK-EYR3-BVKSGG
I am a filthy rotten liar. I went to the store. BUT!!! I didn't use any money out of our account. I used GIFT CARDS that were given to me/earned for research studies. SO, I will NOT be counting this towards my January monthly budget. Sneaky, I know. I also was desperate for eggs, oatmeal, and fresh fruits and veggies. I used my Winco gift card I received from work :)
I did this a little funky... bear with me. You might figure out how to work this better than I did.

January is not going to be a good month for me. I am already $50+ over budget. But, I figure I am trying to look at the year as a whole... And I got a $25 gift card to Winco which will make February nice! :) I can make some of it up there.
I have to admit I took advantage of Albertson's roundup promotion at Walmart today. I took my coupons and used my coupons that still don't total $1 savings even with doublers. Unfortunately, these are the kind of things that are more wants than needs... but oh well. I also bought items such as butter, cream cheese, and cheese that will last a long time. But the free UP2U gum is too awesome to not buy. I price matched Rite Aid for $1/pack and I had 14 more $1/1 coupons from ebay... so yeah. My students will be getting a pack of gum for Valentines Day!
So, here are my January totals. I will NOT be going to the store until February. Good thing February is coming soon! I am out of bread. Hm... maybe I will make bread tomorrow. Sounds yummy!
Basically you search the internet, take surveys, polls, watch video clips and get paid to do it. **NEW! ONLINE & OFFLINE SHOPPING REWARDS!** Get paid to shop online at your favorite stores. My main stores are Amazon, Kohls, Walmart, and Target, but the list is long!! Usually works as a get X sb per dollar spent.
I am not a major Swagger. I will stop by and take the daily poll most every day and complete a survey or two, but mostly I get my points from searching the internet. I have downloaded the search engine tool bar and use that. It is integrated with Google, which is a plus for me. For example, today I was searching for "Souper Salad coupons" and I was awarded 28 Swag Bucks. Now, this is more Bucks than normal, but it was a pleasant surprise.
They also have codes that are good for a certain amount of points. They are sometimes very tricky and require some thinking, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes very easy to do. I find it convenient to follow them on Facebook and have their blog hand in my RSS feeder. I also have their swidget on my personal blog that will alert you to when there is a code and will give clues on how to find them!
Print the $3/1 KY product coupon off of Smart Source for this great money making deal. The 2 oz bottle of KY is regularly priced at $2.84, making this a money maker.
Now, I must admit I have a funny story to share with this coupon. I printed this coupon last month because I had heard of this deal before. I didn't look at the expiration date before going to the register and so I was a "day expired." The cashier told me they hadn't mailed in the monthly coupons yet and that the register manager would allow them to take coupons a few days after they expired. However, he stopped and asked, "Now, is this a want, or a need?" with a smile on his face. I was getting the deal because it was a money maker. Honest to goodness. I intended to give it away either to charity or at a bridal shower gag gift bag. I of course told him it was a want. Well, my husband came shopping with me. The cashier turns to him and says, "I bet your husband would say it was a need. Not a want." Wow. Haha. Little scared to buy products like this again! Needless to say, I got the deal but I walked away a little embarrassed.
Floss is one of those things that I just refuse to pay for now. I can always get it for free or nearly free. Right now at Wal-Mart, you can get Oral B floss for +$.11! It is regularly $.89 and this weeks PG insert had a $1/1 Oral B floss coupon in it.
Not an Oral B kind of person? Then check out Smart Source QUICKLY to get your $1/1 Reach floss. This sells for $.97 at Wal-Mart for +$.03 overage!
It's that time of year again. Time to buy textbooks. Although I suggest buying used textbooks (or ever better, borrowing from a friend), some books just have to be bought new. Check out this offer from Amazon. Buy $50 in qualifying textbooks and receive $5 in MP3 credit. Come on, we all listen to music while we study, right?
